hetinax strop for edge pro back-in-stock and other narrow and shortHetinax (or Getinaks) is a polymeric composite material from cellulose dust and phenolic resin. Hetinax Strop is mounted on aluminum blank of Edge Pro form factor to use on guided knife sharpeners. Hetinax keeps its flatness better than leather and prevents the blade becoming convex when used on abrasive compounds. Working with hetinax is similar to working with leather. You will not be able to fully remove the compound after applying it to the strop.
